Meet Dr. Stephanie Fanelli

Dr. Stephanie Fanelli is a board certified pediatric dentist who is passionate about helping children achieve and maintain optimal oral health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Marist College, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Fanelli then completed her pediatric dental residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.

Dr. Fanelli is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Achieving board certification requires dedication and a commitment to the highest standards of care. As a board certified pediatric dentist, she strives to make every dental experience fun and positive so that her patients feel comfortable and confident at every visit. She especially enjoys using minimally invasive dentistry whenever possible and has experience working with children who have special needs.

Her decision to pursue pediatric dentistry was inspired by her own positive experiences with her childhood dentist. Those memories continue to guide her treatment philosophy, and she hopes to provide the same encouragement for her patients — maybe even inspiring some of them to become pediatric dentists one day, too.

For Dr. Fanelli, the best part of her job is the children themselves, adoring their humor, energy and curiosity. She finds joy in seeing a once-nervous patient leave the office with a smile. She believes that these positive experiences in childhood can help prevent dental anxiety later in life and create a foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Outside of work, Dr. Fanelli enjoys reading, traveling and staying active through workout classes. Also, she is a certified Pure Barre teacher and loves sharing her passion for fitness with others. She and her husband enjoy exploring new restaurants together and spending quality time with their family and friends.

Dr. Fanelli grew up in the Bronx surrounded by her big Italian family, many of whom lived on the same block. She has wonderful memories of that close-knit community and the joy of always being together. Today, she and her husband live in Westchester, NY, where they continue to enjoy family time, good food and an active lifestyle.
