Invisalign® for All Ages

At your initial consultation, Dr. Ritter will perform a thorough evaluation and take digital X-rays to determine if Invisalign® is right for you.

Following, we will take digital scans of your teeth and mouth with our iTero Digital Scanner. This state-of-the-art tool uses optical technology to create a 3D digital impression of your mouth. The handheld wand is guided across the surfaces of the teeth and a camera transmits the images to the computer where you can see, in real time, the impression being made.

Once the impression is complete, Dr. Ritter will use the advanced computer software to design a treatment plan just for you. The treatment plan includes a series of aligners that Dr. Ritter utilizes to gradually move your teeth into the desired position. Each set of aligners will be worn for about a week, and over time, you will begin to notice the subtle changes as your beautiful new smile takes shape.

One of the most important factors in using Invisalign® is wear time. Commerce Park Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics recommends wearing each set of aligners for 20-22 hours per day to get the best possible results. Non-compliance will make the treatment process longer than anticipated.

At the end of treatment, you will begin the retention phase, where we will give you retainers to wear in order to maintain your fabulous new smile. Eventually, the retainers will only be needed during sleep, but this is an important part of preserving the smile you worked hard to achieve.
